1. Applications are invited from interested candidates of Bangladeshi nationals for
admission in the following Bachelor Degree programs of Fall Semester 2016:

2. Qualifications for Admission
A. For B.Sc. Engg. in CSE/EEE/ME/IPE:
Applicants who have passed HSC/ Alim or equivalent or A level or equivalent examinations are
eligible to apply, if he/she fulfills thefollowing conditions:
(i) HSC/ Alim or equivalent examination in Science Group with Mathematics, Physicsand
Chemistry with minimum GPA 3.0 (with additional subject). The total GPA of SSC/Dakhil or
equivalent and HSC/ Alim or equivalent should be at least7.0 (with additional subjects).
(ii) GCE applicants at A-Level with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and FunctionalEnglish
must have GPA 3.0. The total GPA of GCE O-Level and A-Level should beat least 7.0.
However, the candidate must not have any F grade in any subjectof the both levels.
**Applicants who have obtained a total GPA of 9.0 or more in HSC/ Alim or equivalent and
SSC/ Dakhil or equivalent examination are eligible for direct admission (without Admission
Test).

B. BBA and B.A. (Hons) in English:
Applicants who have passed HSC/Alim or equivalent or Alevel or equivalent examinations are
eligible to apply, if he/she fulfills the following conditions:
(i) HSC/ Alim or equivalent examination with minimum GPA of 3.0 (with additional subject).
The total GPA of HSC/Alim or equivalent and SSC/ Dakhil or equivalent should be at least 6.0
(with additional subjects).
(ii) GCE O/A Level Examination: At least GPA 3.0 in both GCE O-Level and GCE A-Level. The
total GPA in GCE A-Level and O-Level should be at least 6.0.The candidate must not have
any F grade in any subject of the both levels.
**Applicants who have obtained a total GPA of 8.0 or more in HSC/ Alim or equivalent and
SSC/ Dakhil or equivalent examinations are eligible for direct Admission (without Admission
Test).
3. Selection Procedure
Applicants who have passed HSC or equivalentexam in 2013-2016 are eligible to apply.
Applicants eligible for Admission Test will be selected on the basis of total GPA of SSC & HSC or
‘O’& `A’ levels’ result. Name of the eligible applicants will be published in the University website
(www.baust.edu.bd) and Notice Board.

bycollecting the Application Formfrom the following Form Collection and
Submission points:

b. Admission Office, BAUST, Saidpur Cantonment.
The application form can be submittedby post/courier, or in person. The admit
card is to be collected from the above Form Collection and Submission points.

Admission Test Fee Payment Procedure
The admission test fee can be paid through bKash or by bank-draft/pay-order.
a) bKash: Amount of Tk. 765 to Merchant Wallet No. 01769675556. The bkash
transaction ID is to be submitted in the appropriate field when applying online. Use
bkash only for online application.
OR
b) Bank-draft/Pay-order ofTk. 750 in favor of “BAUST, Saidpur” (Trust Bank Ltd,
Saidpur Cantonment). The deposit slip is to be attached with the application form.
Following documents are to be attached with the Application Form:
(1) Copy of SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent Academic Transcripts.
(2) Two copies of colored passport size photograph.
6. Hall Facilities:Hall facilities are available in the close proximity of the University Campus
(inside the cantonment) for both male and female students.
